How to Make Decisions: for little people with lots to learn, a simple and effective approach teaching children with social difficulties to make informed decisions

Tracey Bester, author. Published by Learning Curve, Email: besters@tpg.com.au

Tracey Bester has developed some excellent resource material and two of her projects I highly recommend for parents and teachers. How to Make Decisions helps the child understand the range of responses in a particular situation and gives them time to think about their response and to evaluate the outcome. This is particularly helpful to develop the cognition associated with social decision-making. The book is a simply designed flipbook that is easy for children to use. An adult has an information section to help them guide the child through the stages of the teaching process. The approach is simple and logical and very well designed for the autistic mind.
