Textbook on Asperger Syndrome
The Guildford Press has just published an important new book edited by Ami Klin, Fred Volkmar, and Sara S. Sparrow, titled Asperger Syndrome.
The book has 16 chapters written by 27 authors and covers areas such as behaviour, language, motor functioning, genetics and neurobiology, diagnostic constructs, assessment and intervention guidelines, and parent essays. It is primarily written for academics and clinicians and provides the Yale University perspective on Asperger's Syndrome. At $50 (US) it is expensive but it is an essential reference source for those conducting research in the area and practitioners who specialise in Asperger's Syndrome.
The book is published by The Guildford Press in New York and is available from www.amazon.com.
